when i work with tables in MySQL-I get error message as "Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint PK_Patient_Registration . Cannot insert duplicate key in object Patient_Registration . The statement has been terminated."even if i dont have any duplicates in my table.why?

For example

something like this
$result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM review ORDER BY name");

but instead of ordering it by its name i want to order it by what number of submission it is. So if it was the first thing submitted it would go before the second submitted.

I need a free hosting source with PHP and MySQL for a coppermine gallery- and it needs to be able to have FTP for quick image uploading- and I need to find one with the most memory if possible.
The one I ve found so far is byethost.[com] and that s only 250mb.
If anyone could help I d be really greatful.

I have a website with a table- in one cell i have images that create a navigation bar- in another cell i have site content- etc.

Ok- what I want is this: let s say I decide to change my navi-bar images- ie- the order and/or quantity of said images. Is there a way where all I have to do is edit one file and all the pages on my site will have that new navi-bar without me having to cut/paste the code for it into each file on my website?

I ve only learned basic css where I can change an external style sheet- etc- but i don t see how css can do what I m asking unless i haven t learned something important. Is there some kind of code where I can say "in this cell- filename.ext = content of cell"?

Or is there some other entirely other kind of workflow I can design with to do this? I ve started learning php/mysql but not much. Is there some kind of program that will do this for me- and which ones could work really well w/Dreamweaver CS3? I m not smart- I need easy to use programs.

I want personal pages is there anyway of doing this so when they login it does this. I will post my login code as addintional details. Please help me. Thanks alot. Anyhelp would be great!

Basically i was slowley developing a social network that i can build on and eventually launch. Im kind of using it to learn php and stuff. So basically i have a login and user regiration page but like when they login it goes straight a page that everyone gets the same. Using the header(Location:) thing. What i want is like myspace everyone to see a diffreant page like there control panel but also like a profile page so they can create a url. Is there anyway i can do this. Thanks

I asked them for help- they said I need to check my system security settings (i.e. Norton- McAfee- AVG- etc) and make sure there are no files in the blocked lists of those programs.

The problem is- I don t use any of them. Is there another security setting inside my PC that I don t aware?

My interest is to be able to have my .txt files and/or html files load dynamically. What I have the idea of is I can create a page and have all the text- images- prices whatever load directly from my mysql file. I am interested in concepts like this since I am new to php/mysql. When using Mysql- how do you change system values like- ft_min_word_len? I am trying to build a search but I want the search to allow words less than four letters- which is the default.

I have a 115 MB mySQL database on one of my osCommerce powered stores. The store has around 47-000 products in it. I have cached just about query I can for this store. On every page that displays a product price there are two queries that I cannot cache. It can take anywhere from 0.2 seconds to 2 seconds to run each of them. It takes about 3 seconds on average to load each page (plus download time).

I currently have this store on a vps with 256 MBs of RAM and 1% CPU time from eight 3.2 GHz Xeon cores.

Is there something I can do in the database to speed up the query times? Will upgrading to a 512 MB or 1024 MB VPS with 2% or 4% cpu time make much of a difference?
