Hello- I am new to PHP and I was wondering if I could create a GUI for the web like ASP.NET does? I am trying to create an information management solution for my company that would use a MySQL database and PHP or the interface.

I m looking to create a web browser based multiplayer game (Something along the lines of poker- or a card game like that.)

I d like to learn to code it myself. Where do I begin? I know little about HTML- and nothing about Java/Flash/PHP/MySQL/etc.

I completed Master of IT- I donot have any work experience- though I done many project in my studies- and I am good in programming- I completed SCJP. My skills PHP-J2SE-C++- Mysql. I am a international student- applied for TR - 485.

Where can I get free webhosting? With FTP support and if possible support a a mysql database so I can host a wordpress blog?
