I have a problem with a query- no errors- but it simply doesnt work and I know it should!!! Heres the deal:

$query="SELECT * FROM `ticket` WHERE user= id AND `date` BETWEEN $date1 AND $date2 ORDER BY id";

Im trying to access the "ticket" table- and a reference is made by user and date - but I think my syntax might be wrong- I think its in the BETWEEN statement- but if I re-arrange it i do get an error... can someone help PLEASE?? thanks!!!

For example- without using an external php file- how would you see the value of "bedtime" in dogs.lucky- in the command line.

After i have submitted the data which contains the £ character.I get the ? character in their place.

i have some webspace- and i wanted to pop a wiki on it. i ve looked around and found a few free web based wiki s. But i d like to host one myself if at all possible.

If anyone knows an easy to use / easy to update wiki software i can pop on my webspace then please let me know about it.

the webspace i have supports mySQL and php.

I m running a LAMP server- use PBCS for scheduling (Excellent program; thanks Roalt) but still take phone messages on paper- which inevitably sometimes gets lost. I d really like to be able to take phone messages on a web screen- so that users at any station can check if they have received calls they need to return- etc. Dunno if I m searching using the wrong keywords- but haven t found squat (tried mysql web-based receptionist phone message and others- in varied combinations). Ideally- should be open-source or freeware (kudos again to PBCS!) Thanks for any tips!
